Find Your Offer’s POV: Rapid-Fire Offer Messaging Strategy
Quick NEWSFLASH for you, my pal: You can’t sell what you can’t say
If you’re totally stuck trying to show how your offer is different, compelling, and a must-invest, you are not alone. Messaging is hard – and it’s especially hard to convey super important points about an offer of yours in just a few sentences. (And sometimes, that’s all you’ve got – if that).
So, if you’re not sure what makes your offer unique and a must, that means your offer POV needs a little work. That’s where this post comes in.
This blog is your no-BS, rapid-fire guide to finding your offer’s POV so your messaging hits hard, stands out in a crowded market, and actually converts.
(P.S. Stick around till the end – I’ll share a shortcut to nail your offer’s messaging in 12 minutes flat!)

Why Your Offer Messaging Strategy Even Matters
Your offer messaging strategy is everything.
Unfortunately, the pressure of that can get to you. And what’s worse, the phrase “offer messaging strategy” is a total buzzword that adds even more pressure and makes creating your messaging strategy even harder.
So, let’s break this down into easy terms before we dive into figuring things out.
Messaging is just the what stuff – what you’ll say about your latest and greatest thing to the most appropriate audience.
(P.S., if you’re starting at the beginning with messaging, I highly recommend my Messaging 101 blog right here!)
At its base, messaging strategies are just plans for what we’ll say about our stuff to the right audience. They exist so that we have a go-to list of talking points that resonate with our ideal people. That way, when it comes time to write a sales page or send an email or sell our offer, we know exactly what’s going to click and convert.
And think about it: in a sea of competitors, the brands that clearly communicate why their offers are different get noticed, get clicks, and get paid.
If your messaging is cluttered or unclear or sounds like everything else out there, your ideal clients are probably going to scroll past.
They can’t buy what they can’t understand, and they definitely can’t fall in love with what they don’t get.
Finding your offer’s POV – the things that make it different and compelling – is the key to saying clearly this was made for you, here’s why.
Finding Your Offer’s POV: Rapid Fire Edition
Now listen, I have a whole blog on finding your POV – and I highly recommend you read it. But if you’re in a pinch and want the Cliff Notes™ on finding your offer’s unique point of view, you can do one of two things:
1.Watch this reel that’s going to summarize this entire post
2. Read this blog to get the deep details on how to find your offer’s POV
Be Direct About What Makes Your Offer Different
Trust me, subtlety doesn’t sell. If you’re hoping your dream clients will magically pick up on what sets your offer apart, good luck. They won’t.
It’s not your ideal client's job to put their finger on what makes your thing different and exciting. That’s your job – don’t make them work any harder than they need to. One of the reasons people will be excited by you, trust you, and buy from you is that you’re connecting the dots for them and making it easy to see why it’s a must.
Ask yourself:
What about my offer is unlike anything else in my industry?
What problem does it solve in a way no one else does?
Sometimes the problem isn’t that you don’t know what makes your offer different; it’s that you’re not saying it clearly enough.
Write it down. Say it out loud. Put it front and center on your website, in your emails, and everywhere your audience can see it.
Make a List of the Things You’d Throw Hands Over
If you don’t know what makes your offer different or compelling, ask yourself this: What about your offer makes you puff out your chest with pride?
Your excitement is contagious. If it gets you hyped, it will get your audience hyped too.
Are there features or benefits that make it stand out?
Is there a transformation you provide that nobody else does?
Jot everything down. Don’t overthink it, just get it on paper. I like to call this the Whole Chest Test – what’s something about your offer you’d say with your whole chest? Go to bat for? Fight about?
That’s probably a POV worth mentioning.
Pick What You’d Scream From a Rooftop
Picture it: Your ideal audience is standing on the ground below you. They’re exactly who you want to buy into this offer of yours. You’ve got one chance to make them do it.
You’ve got a megaphone, and they’re definitely going to hear you. Nothing is standing in your way.
What’s the ONE thing about your offer that would make them stop scrolling, lean in, and think: “Yes! That’s exactly what I need!”
Lock in that core message. Everything else you communicate should support it.
Imagine Your 10-Second Pitch
Imagine someone asks you about your offer right when they step onto an elevator. They press L for the lobby, and you’ve got 10 seconds to tell them what makes your offer different.
Can you do it?
Is it clear, compelling, and irresistible?
This is the ultimate test of your messaging strategy. If you can’t distill it into 10 seconds, your audience won’t understand it either.
Decide the Hill Your Offer Will Die On
What will your offer never do? What will it always do? Setting clear boundaries makes your messaging confident and trustworthy. It helps your audience know exactly what to expect and what they’re signing up for – no confusion, no guesswork.
